Sue Cates, 70, of Dahlonega, died Jan. 31, 2018. Born Nov. 15, 1947 to the late Robert and Willie Grace Bales, she had been a resident of Dahlonega for the past 40 years coming from Alpharetta. Sue worked as a farmer alongside her husband for over 40 years. She enjoyed traveling and had visited every state in the U.S. and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
