Tabitha Jean Scurry, 34, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, March 29, 2009.

Tabitha was a loving mother, devoted to her children and her family and spent most of her spare time helping out friends and relatives.

Her stepmother, Linda Davis preceded her in death in April 2007.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Scurry of Dawsonville; children, Victoria Davis, Benjamin McBrayer and Angel McBrayer; father, Allen Davis of Gainesville; mother, Diane Lowe; sister, Melissa Lowe; brother, Dewayne Summey; grandfather, Earl Davis; step-grandmother, Mary Kepner; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, April 3 at New Hope Methodist Church with the Pastor Larry Patton officiating.

Interment followed in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions were requested to be made to: New Hope Baptist Church, 4815 Dawsonville Hwy., Gainesville, GA 30506, c/o Pastor Larry Patton.

Byars Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
