Terry "Goodester" Goode, 54, of Dawsonville, died July 24, 2016.

Born Aug. 6, 1961, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

A proud and loving grandfather, Mr. Goode was also an avid outdoorsman and racing fan.

His father, Vasco Goode; brothers, Jerry Goode, Jimmy Goode; and sister, Elda Looper, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Johnson Goode of Dawsonville; daughters and son-in-law, Chastity and Russ NeSmith, Teressia Carlene Goode, all of Dahlonega; sons, Trent Goode, Brent Terry Goode, both of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Austin Miller, Aaron Owens, Natalie NeSmith, Kaleigh NeSmith, Zachary Goode, Johnny B. Goode; mother, Gladys Bennett of Dawsonville; brothers, Timmy Goode, Troy Goode, Tracey Goode, all of Dawsonville; sisters, Jeanette Reece, Joan Brown, both of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. July 27 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Charles Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends until the service hour on July 27.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
