Terry Ruth Adams, 67, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 26, 2014.
Born Jan. 15, 1947 in Murphy, N.C., she had lived in Dawson County for the past 23 years having moved from Cherokee County.
Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and very devoted mother, grandmother and was a big Elvis Presley fan.
Her husband, Hulon Adams; mother, Lillie Mae Robertson; sisters, Tammy Emory, Shena Licering; brother, Ronnie Coker; and loving companion, Gene Potts, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Laura and Troy England, Dwayne Adams, Randy and Jackie Adams, Danny Adams, all of Dawsonville, Rebekah and Steve Benefield of Ellijay, Terrill Adams and Annie Neighbors of Ball Ground; sisters, Sue Samples of Cumming, Karen Miller of Canton, Linda Coker of Jasper; brother, Tommy Coker of Douglasville; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 30 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Hamby officiating. Interment followed in the McKees Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
