Thomas “Tommy” Holmes Powell, 53, of Dahlonega, died April 26, 2018. Tommy was born Sept. 18, 1964 in Mobile, Ala.to the late Howard and Peggy Powell. A member of The Lighthouse for Jesus Church in Sugar Hill, he loved to participate in music and loved the water. Although he had nonverbal autism, he would never meet a stranger and loved to flirt with the ladies. Tommy loved to eat and his favorite meal was Ms. Vickie’s chicken and dumplings.
