Wayne R. Turner, 58, of Dawsonville, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.

His parents, Edgar and Callie Turner and brother, E.C. Turner, preceded him in death.

Mr. Turner was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Mark Turner of Spring City, Tenn.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dean and Jimmy Gravitt, Virginia and John Lamb, all of Cumming; sisters, Valaree Walls and Bobbie Owen of Dawsonville; sister-in-law, Bernice Turner of Clayton; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ruel Martin and Larmon Barron officiating.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
