Wayne Zerishnek, 66, of Cumming, died Feb. 28, 2012.

Mr. Zerishnek was born May 18, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of George and Sophie (Skarupa) Zerishnek.

Wayne served in the United States Coast Guard.

Mr. Zerishnek retired following a long career with ESB Bank in Ellwood City, Pa.

Mr. Zerishnek loved landscaping, Pittsburgh sports and spending time with his granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Scholz) of Cumming; son, Wayne "JR" Zerishnek of Dawsonville; daughter, Heidi (David) Calabrese of Dawsonville; granddaughter, Mia Calabrese; favorite dog, Holly; sister, Georgene (Eugene) Ritter of Macon; brother, Keith (Patty) Zerishnek of Corraopolis, Pa.; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m. March 2 at the McDonald and Son Chapel.

Memorial contributions were asked made to the Forsyth County Humane Society.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
