Winfred Dave Pass, 57, of Dawsonville, died May 20, 2013.
Born May 23, 1955, Mr. Pass had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past five years, after spending most of his life in Buford. A U.S. Army veteran, he had worked at the General Motors plant in Doraville with his father in the 1970s and also worked as a heavy equipment operator for more than 25 years.
His father, Winfred Othell Pass Sr.; and grandparents, Willie and Voytell Pass, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tina Pass of Dawsonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Mitchell Sams of Dawsonville, Amanda Michele and William Smith of Dahlonega; mother, Margaret Holden Farr of Bishop; sisters and brothers-in-law, Melinda and Gene Chatham of Dacula, Sherri and David Baker, Victoria Farr and Lanie Silba, all of Monroe; brothers and sister-in-law, Dwayne Pass of Buford, Frank and Angela Farr of Bishop; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; various other relatives also survive.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. May 24, at Bearden Funeral Home and the visitation concluded with a prayer service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to help offset final expenses.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
