Dawson County High School junior quarterback Tyler Dominy competed in the Nike Quarterback Invitational Camp at the University of Georgia in Athens last month.
Dominy participated in several different throwing and running drills.
He also was involved in different competitions against some of the best quarterbacks in the Southeast.
After all evaluations were completed, Dominy placed sixth amongst all quarterbacks.
The prestigious camp allows for exposure for some of the top quarterbacks in the nation.
“Tyler did a great job at the Nike camp,” said Tiger Head Coach Jeff Lee. “By competing in this type of camp it will help Tyler during the next two years.”
In the Dawson County spring football game Dominy showed off his talented arm by completing 7 of 10 passes for 165 yards.
