The Atlanta Junior Golf program will be hosting an event at Chestatee Golf Course in Dawsonville on June 30. The tournament is open to junior golfers in a 9-hole and 18-hole format.
The event is part of many tournaments held throughout Georgia, which is open to golfers from the ages of 7-18.
The golf series begins on May 27 with a tournament at Cannongate Golf Club in Sharpsburg and will conclude with a Grand Championship at Callaway Gardens.
Atlanta Junior Golf will host over 80 events this summer and will provide more than 7,000 tee times in 24 Georgia counties during the months of May, June and July.
Tiger Wesley Bearden is entered to play the event. Bearden is a junior and was part of the AA state tournament team for Head Coach Van Samples’ Dawson County High School golf team.

The Atlanta Junior Golf Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization and gains its funding through memberships, sponsorships and contributions.
Contributions to the association are tax deductible by individuals and corporations alike.
The Atlanta Junior Golf Association is governed by a board of directors made up of leading area business professionals, golf enthusiasts and golf professionals. Members of the board serve as volunteers and help guide the activities of the organization.
