Head Coach Jeff Lee, Dawson County football staff and players hosted a Fellowship of Christian Athletes youth football power camp last week at Tiger Stadium.

The camp was open to any aspiring player ages 8-14.

The camp was from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

More than 30 campers took advantage of the camp. Each camper received instruction from Lee on the proper fundamentals of football in a controlled environment.

Each camper also received a FCA T-shirt and an athlete’s Bible for attending.

According to Lee, the camp was a success and he hopes to make the event an annual one at the school.
