The Dawson County High School wrestling team brought home two big wins last week.
The Tigers outlasted Mt. Pisgah, 60-18, and Mt. Vernon, 48-18, in a tri-match at Mt. Pisgah last week.
The Tigers, under head coach Arron Haynes, also brought home a fourth place finish at the Knight Duals held at River Ridge High School on Saturday.
At River Ridge the Tigers defeated SE Whitfield, 48-36, Pepperell, 54-30, Riverwood, 45-36, and host River Ridge, 54-24. The only loss of the tournament was to Lumpkin County, 58-22.
Haynes has also named Keaton Toal, Zach Guy, Gavin Brown and Coty Greer as this year's captains.
There are eight seniors on this year's wrestling roster are: Forrest Ehrlich, Greer, Guy, Jacob Haberkam, Ryan Jones, Levi Kennedy, Keaton Toal and Chase Wilson.
Juniors are: Brown, Quade Buytendorp, Justin Evans, Gilbert Pruitt and Brett Whalen.
The sophomores are Harrison Adams, Brenden Capps and Austin Williams.
Freshman are: Robby Barrett, Ethan Cowart, Michael Cronan, Cody Garmon, Jordan Hannah, Parker Kincaid, Devan King, Josh Poe, Chad Port and Jeremy Whalen.
Managers will be Camryn Geiger, Jessica Lovingood, Katie Williamson, Emily Milford and Twila Transue.
Assisting Coach Haynes this season will be: Gregg Adams, Ryan Coker, Kenny Houseal and Noel Poisson.
